Made up a bracket and fitted handbrake. Rear prop, wiring and mot baby!! Bracket is made from a piece of my old disco chassis so it's nice and thick and strong. Bolted to the seat box with 4 m8s. Then the lever bolted to that plate.. Didn't realise there was no plate there on a series seat...

Jus cosmetic stuff done over past few days. Bolted the seats down, got a disklok and painted the floor panels, bulkhead and seat box Black. Not very authentic but it looks pretty good Imo

Haha its a reflector for when the door is open. It goes mental with the flash on my phone. Got a disklok, pair of mushroom screws for fuse board, some missile style toggle switches and some other gubbins on the way. Bolted the handbrake back plate to the t-box but didn't want to get underneath...

Bit more work done today. Bolted down the passenger seat and done some painting. Coming along nicely!

I have put a disco rear axle in my 84 ninety. Using the standard pressure regulator thing and it works fine. If you do put the disco one in, put the disco servo and master cylinder in too.. Then you have independent front left and right. And a separate line for the rear

99% the 2015 defender will be based on the new PLA architecture that the L405 and L494 are based on. Don't expect it to look too different from the concept, maybe jus a bit sharper on the edges and stuff. They need to get it a bit aerodynamic for emissions and pedestrian safety.

Re hinged the driver door and adjusted it so it shuts and locks, moved seat box forward an inch, cut down transmission tunnel and floor panels to suit. Fitted battery tray out of old seat box into new one.

Lookin great mate. Wish i had taken the time to do it all from scratch and prep everything on the fly. Gonna have one hell of a job to rust proof everything now!!

haha too much space for em! when it gets tax n ticket i'll bring it back for a come back tour. Bolt down all the interior and sort the electrics out, handbrake and prop and i think it'll be ready to take in

the way i did this was with he pipe, pump the clutch till its coming out of the pipe pretty vigourously, then leave it and keep topping it up, gravity will syphon the fluid out till its running clean, then crimp up the bleed nipple :)

It may appear lower because the clutch is sitting lower. Maybe?? When the bearing goes it may well be forcing its way through the spring plate. If it is that, it can go fairly suddenly without warning and be quite scary. Get it looked at

Definitely unscrews the way it spins. Put mine on loose once. When. I turned the engine off I heard it unscrew and fall off lol

Exactly my plan shifty. Worked out that my 2x2x1 hole will only hold around 240kg of Concrete. Is that enough??
