hi
is it petrol or diesel? getting an engine isn't too difficult, you could go the breaker route, e-bay or, if you are planning to keep the FL for some time, one of the advertisers in the various LR mags.
Never done one but I assume any decent "spanner monkey" type of garage would be able...

do the haxards all work - if so then the relays, fuses & bulbsa are probably OK and it's likely to be a problem with the indicator stalk.
CHeapest option is to remove it from the steering column and give the contacts a good clean either with really fine wet 'n' dry or contact cleaner...

there's also a small company based in gunhills industrial estate, Armthorpe (next door to Allcar Autos) who does bio-diesel. Last time I bought some (june 2011 it was £1.02/ltr and does it both in bulk or from a pump straight into your tank.
Can't remember his name but I used him...
yep, i'm a member (of the RRR, not just a member!!)
not had a lot to do with them and, to be fair, only joined as some insurers give discount to RRR members but, from my limited experience they seem OK

asuming it is the horn that's stopped working and you haven't just suddenly gone deaf then your rotary coupler has probably gone.
They can be repaired as mentioend on earlier post but they easy to replace from on line auction site and changing it only requires removal of the...

PM me with your address & post code & I'll run you one off - mine is the 2007 version and doesn't have postcode mapping but works fine for the older CARIN II system
don't mind either way, although I like to read primarily the P38 related posts I'm also interested in both the classics & L322 (not an evoque fan tho')
as long as everyone has somewhere to post and any sub folder is easy to fnd I don't think it's an issue
got mine in june 2011 after over 2 years of trying t ofind a really decent one.
Apart from changing the front air springs (they were original), the bulbs in the HEVAC unit, the interior light unit in the boot & the frayed drivers side seatbelt not a single problem. I did do a full fluid &...

yep, I had a go in his L322 and with the 18's on with the grabbers (which were less than 4 months old) the ride was not as nice as my P38 on 18's with scorpions on. When he got it, it had 20's on and pirelli road biased tyres
It seemed to float a bit but he went for 255/60's and not...

if you run the petrol tank really low, bearing in mind that your P38 is at least 10 years old, all the residue & other crap that settles in the very bottom of the tank will be drawn unto the fuel pump.
You will probably get away with just having to change the fuel filter (which...

This sounds normal to me - I would have thought that the bluetooth pairing would stop as soon as the car was switched off (ignition out)
Unless anyone else knows different - mine's too old to have that kind of tech, mine still has a cassette slot!!!!
if you are serious about taking the L322 off road why not keep the 22's (or even change them for 20's or 18's) keep the road tyres for everyday and invest in a cheap set of steel wheels for your AT's.
M8 of mine has a L322 and he's gone for 18's with General Grabber AT's and although he takes...

In my opinion, the diesels are far too sluggish, particularily if you tow anything heavy (caravan, horse trailer) - go for a 1999 on petrol V8 with LPG. Cheaper to buy & you will love the power
don't forget as well that unleaded is approx 10p/ltr cheaper than diesel (round here...

glad I've got a P38 then. Seriously tho' a M8 of mine does have a 2006 defender and even though it's got the LR alarm & immobiliser & he's fitted a box that goes over the pedals he still thinks it's only a matter of time before someone chances their arm.
If he wasn't such a defender...

I know mine isn;t the same so the mirrors are different but I find teh "suck it & see" ones best. They attach by suction to the mirror glass and are fully adjustable.
Cost about £17 each and you are now legally required to have one on drivers & one on passenger side
