put it in 4th gear handbrake off and get your mates to rock it back and forward, if the starter has jammed on the flywheel ring gear this will sort it.

if i need a new box would you recommend buying a refurb or having mine redone.who does reasonable boxes?how much is it likely to cost?cheers

don't know if i've got a clutch or gearbox problem:( .cant start engine in neutral but can with rear wheels off floor,but then cant select a gear just lots of crunching.help please.

hey everyone, what do you reckon would be the best diesel engine to get to replace my 2.5 petrol. main reason for changing is economy. i would prefer as simple a conversion as possible. any ideas? cheers .

make sure the master cylinder pushrod is correctly adjusted as well,otherwise you may not be pushing the fluid round properly

hey,as you prolly all know the active ingredient in rust converters is phosphoric acid. i've just found out that milk stone remover,available from farmers suppliers,contains 35% phos.and this is the best bit it only costs about a tenner for 5 ltrs.i reckon that's enough to keep feo2 at bay for a...

yeah grease is good but as adz ses make sure your swivel seals are in good nick

hey everyone,dunked my 2a in the briny,drove home and didn't use it for four days.now it appears the clutch is stuck to the flywheel can't disengage it all. the hydraulics are all working ok but won't go in gear.please help, is there any method of freeing it without a stripdown.thanks,john

hey,i know this is gonna sound really stupid to a lot of you oldarses out there,but when using my 2a for launching my boat is it necessary to fit an exhaust snorkel. all comments welcomed,cheers john.
