What did you do with your Range Rover today

She was an unloved farm hack. Most likely had mud and sh*t stuck to the sills full time. Base TD model. Bodywork unloved too. I am trying to save her from the crusher.

P38A Airbag fault after new windscreen fitted

It took four visits to fit mine last month. First guy turned up and said it was going to rain so left? Next guy said he didn't have the correct trims so left. Third guy turned up in the rain and said his awning not tall enough to cover the car. Number. four fitted it. This took three weeks in all.

Changed out XYZ gearbox indicator. Old one breather pipe had come adrift and letting crap in. Hope this cures intermittent fault of gearbox reverting to limp mode when warmed up after a decent run.

The old P38 diesel passed the MOT again! What an amazing car for its age. 21 years and going strong. I wonder how many of the new generation overpriced Range Rovers will still be running in 21 years?

1996 P38 DSE XYZ Switch fault?

Thanks for reply. Towing a bit of a one off but take your point. I posted a thread on here a while back re: genuine viscous fans on e -bay at a good price and was too slow in ordering one! Getting diagnostics in this area a problem. One so called Land Rover specialist will not touch P38's at any...
