hi guys as an on going starting issue on my p38 in another thread i changed the ect sensor for a brand new original as i thought it maybe my problem well it did not seem to be but i have noticed the new sensor reads lower than the old one , the new sensor reads just at the top of the blue...

indeed wammers it is relay 19 which is main engine relay according to the fuse box lid , i may have been somewhat misinformed by this diagram i found online and not reading the key , where 6 in the picture is actually 19

i belive there isnt a filter as mentioned above , anyhow i had a look at relay number 19 in the main fuse box which is the main engine relay ,didnt show any sign of burning or smell, but i thought to be sure and changed it for a replacement i had and this morning she fired straight up so...

well i changed the plugs and the coolant temp sensor also cleaned the maf sensor and the fault is still there , starts fine after and runs fine it just winds over for a while on cold start

about 4 years ago,12000 miles ago, only does 3000 a year tried waiting before turning the key on start up no joy , maybe lpg related but not sure what to try will have to plug my laptop in and see what shows up but have a feeling nothing will show up i did fit 2 new injection modules a few...

hi guys anyone shed any light on this ,my 2001 4.6 now takes longer to start from cold, winds over for 3-5 seconds before bursting into life , once started shes ok untill next cold start , she allways used to start straight up , doesnt appear to have any other symptoms :confused:
