Both rear "wings" are badly dented and unfillable. 200.300Tdi tubs are old now, and im looking for all new panels throughout. TD5 have the fuel cap in the wrong place. i have a surplus rear tub that has bad panels also. Im perplexed that no-one has done this repair!!

Don't know what you would call em mate if not wings or rear quarter panels! I would always refer to em as wings, front or back!

I know how involved an engine change is. That wasn't my thought. If you could take all the sensors off, and ge rid of the TD5 cu you would be left with a diesel that behaved and was controled in an old fasioned manner. Its not like there is any varianble valve timings or stuff like that...

I use the foretrex which i believe is the same but looks different. You can upload a track or route and navigate along the way. You cant' actually put maps on it, all you get is a line to follow. It is handy if you plan your trips.
