How difficult is it to change the blower motor, i need to change the drivers side blower and probably blend motor(s) at the same time, i have all the parts ready to go. Is there any suitable literature about how to do it, RAVE seems a bit vague on the blower change, any help appreciated. Cheers

My internal fan/blower runs all the time on drivers side, it will speed up when required etc, can't turn it right down, i'm sure they can't be turned off, but just tick over...........its loud and yes i have turned stereo up. Hi all, i have just ordered new fuse box to replace my clapped out, burnt unit. Is there anything i need to be worried about when changing them over, i have radio code, EKA code etc. Will it cause me any problems changing it? Any tips would be appreciated............. cheers all:confused:

Hi all, i need to replace my HEVAC control unit as it is not very well!!, does it matter which model i use as i see there are a few different part numbers knocking about. my car is a X reg P38a, anyone know of a good place to get a decent A/C condenser as that has gone again, less than 12 months...

My heater fan/blower is running constantly and can't turn it down! i have removed relays to see if it was that, swapped them around not that. any ideas where to start to sort this problem out..........cheers

i have just changed the pads all round, and had to do a caliper as it was knacked. i now need to bleed them, is it as much as a ball ache as it seems reading through the RAVE sequence? are there any easier ways? cheers all:)

have you not got a string pull? have a look in boot, drivers side by the light cluster change flap, it may be tucked inside. that should be your back-up release:)

go into device manager on your pc, see which comm port it is using and select correct one from the drop down menu, it will not work correctly otherwise

correct it is, however you need the correct leads to run off your pc, serial or usb, the kit i bought supplied both- well worth it!!

yeah faults were 7- vehicle has moved and 4- air supply fault. sorted, well the comp is going to be refitted, new front bags to go on and a general check up. worth having the software now i think!!

had EAS fault come up last night whilst driving in snow!! put my recently purchased software on it this morning- 2 faults cleared and all working again, saved at least 40 quid if i used independant garage and hell of a lot more at stealers!! best 30 quid spent, recommended even if you only use...

hi i had same on my 2000 p38a, turned out to be ABS switch fitted to pump, not cheap!! 200 quid + at stealers. it could be accumulator on top of abs pump, the pump itself if brakes aren't too good or sensor or abs ecu!! as you can see it could be a number of things, i bought second hand good...

well i have taken the plunge, bought an in line push fit guage off ebay, so thats going to be fitted, also bought new set of front bags from island 4x4 as front drivers side was dropping overnight so well on the way to recovery i hope. i will see what the comp. is knocking out and then go for...

what sort of pressure should the compressor kick out, system run at? i am thinking about rigging up a pressure guage from the compressor to tank line to see if it is kicking out enough air. this is all part of my eas fault finding session. i need to know max pressure that can be expected...

has anyone fitted the compressor repair kit from island4x4, seems good value. i have had all the same symptoms as described, thinking about repair kit, and new front bags to start with as they are originals on my 2000 4.6 vogue

my eas is really struggling with the cold, previously very good before cold snap set in. i am contemplating fitting emergency valves near the eas compressor using 'T' pieces to tap into the lines andfit the valves permanently. has anyone done similar or do you thik it is possible? cheers
