i would do a proper compression test aswell, if your a tooth out on the timing its normally white smoke. if the fuel is airated it just wont run, blue smoke is buring oil, black is over fueling, white is coolant or improper combusted fuel.

The ones they sell on ebay as insulation are in fact radio wave supresent (im ex reme) not really designed as winter insulation unless of course it is the proper winterized stuff (hens teeth) but i aint seen any. yes running along the top of the pedal box under where the bonnet hinges. its gone right the way across. im temped to treat and fill but some thing keeps telling me to do it properly.

the bulkhead inside the engine compartment at the back along the botom line of the bonnet. common soft dash thing apparently.

sorry to rain on your parade but the intake and inlet manifold on a defender 200 are like rocking horse poo and not the same as a discovery. turbos are even rarer!!!!!!

right defender 200 turbos fits up high and are rocking horse droppings. the turbo on a 90j is a very close match and im hoping that you can mount the 19j turbo on the 200tdi manifold. thats the plan anyway

okay please please please help. i fitted a 200tdi to my 90 and im getting no boost. i think i am getting forced air (i dont know who much i should have) into the intake manifold but still no boost. i also took the top of the fuel pump and pressed down the up fueling for the boost but nothing...

okay so i have a rotten '95 soft dash (mint interior but wrotten body), 3.9 efi lpg solid chassis and a classic 2 door rangie. i want to know is it poss to build a 2 door soft dash with all the abs and tc off the late one with the body off the 2 door???? i was thinking body swap???? any ideas????
