Will that risk damage to the ACE?

Trying to get old springs off to fit New ones but having undone shock & 2 spring retaining bolts I cannot lever the spring of the lug on the axles. I have ACE and was hoping to not have to undo those links. Any ideas please? Stuart

Just read this entire thread and it is very interesting. I have no idea who is correct but it is a shame that one contributor feels it necessary to be abusive to the others. It adds nothing to the argument and shows an ignorance of how to conduct oneself in a public forum.

Just been out to have a look and it looks easy to connect a live and earth for the reversing light, just need to find a 12v feed beyond the grommet.

Hi all I'm fitting a Valeo parking sensor to my TD5. Got the bumper off and marked out where to drill the 4 holes for the little eyes, next step is to get the cables into the car. I need to find an aperture to put the reverse sensor cable from near the back of the bumper into the bodywork around...

Took the tailgate door card back off again just now and the little one way valve was blocked. It is now a two way valve and for the first time in over 3 years of ownership I now have a rear wiper that stops in the right place and a working washer. Thanks iansoady.

I was looking at that little valve yesterday, shame I didn't check it from the in side. The tube to the outlet on the wiper arm is clear.

Does the line run inside the body?

Just fitted a new rear wiper motor and checked rear washer nozzle is clear. Rear washer impeller makes the right sort of noise when activated but still nothing is coming out. Any ideas?

hi, I suspect my TD5 has been remapped by Dynachip to produce around 170bhp. Is there anyone out there with similar and do you have an estimated for the amount of torque I might be likely to achieve? I know there is plenty of scope for conjecture but I'm just after a ballpark figure out of interest.

Thule do a roof bar kit for your vehicle but as the fat D2 rails at short it's hard to use them effectively.

I have already discarded the washer, I presume it is a gearbox out job to fix the yoke?
