Ive seen a local ad for a 130 amp clarke turbo mig welder, i currently dont weld. Is this as good as any to learn with. Also are there any restrictions with the ampage as to what i can weld? ie. on a disco 1 is there any metal too thick to weld with a 130a mig? Taking in to account i may end up...

Evening gents, on my 300 tdi auto the folding gator on the auto change stick is missing (the part to the front and back of the stick which moves with it when u select gears etc), which im not assed about but after ive been driving a while i can feel heat down this void where the gator would be...

I dont know much about engines but when my head gasket went on my mg a few years back i had a load of oily sludge on my air filter and smoke out the exhaust. I dont wanna be the bearer of bad news or owt :( i hope this is not the case for you...

nice! lol. was just looking at the 60mm spacers i found on simmonites, do you know if you can fit alloys to those spacers or does it have to be steels? i was wondering after seeing the wheel nuts supplied with the spacers http://simmonites.com/wheeladapters.html

Ive got standard disco alloys on my truck and would like to achiveve a wider wheel track mainly cos i think it looks the bollocks. Does anyone know what the maximum offset you can get is? 50mm would be plenty i think if possible which then leads to next question where can i get them from???

The bolt was a **** to get out but had a spare so just smashed the granny out of it with a ball hammer, and the guard was just floating around my mates workshop. he always has landys around so it would have just come off one of them and never gone back on so let me have it

Its on, just had to hammer in towards the engine slightly otherwise it would of caught, sourced the bolt from local bearings shop. Looks smart now, im also halfway through a terrafirma 2" lift. Got the back done today, front tomoz :) . My knees are feckin shot tho, few beers now me thinks... Thx...
