Your expert opinions on my rust please!

Use a wire brush attachment on your grinder to get as much of the rust off as you can where your gonna try and save then I used a product called "kurust" which is supposed to kill the rust and leave you with a paintable surface. It goes on like a milky colour if I remember correctly and after 10...

Light bar wiring with very technical drawings!!!

I've decided not to do this job myself as auto spark only wants 60 notes to do the job incl supplying materials and I've got more than enough on my plate for now, so anyways he's asked how I want it done and he's suggested to wire it so that they come on with full beam but also put a switch so I...

    converting to push start

How easy is it to wire in a push start ignition button? Nowt wrong with using my key to start it I just think pushing a big red button would be cool. I realise that I would need to turn the key to ignition and then push the button but would still like to do it. Anyone got a guide?

    which oil ?

Ep90 for both your axles and transfer box. Get it in 1 litre tubs with a built in nozzle, it's easier to fill with. Get 6 litres in total and anything left you can keep for next time. Before you drain, make sure you can get the filler plug out first or your screwed lol. Can't help with the...

Light bar wiring with very technical drawings!!!

Right, don't know a lot about auto electrics but I want to attempt to wire in my light bar by myself. After looking through some diagrams and guides etc I've come up with this: Couple of questions are: What size fuse do I need? What size cable do I use? Is that diagram correct as a guide...

    Battery issues

Been to halfords and they say fooked, then try to sell me one with 510 cca for over 100 notes. Oops. I've looked at those ones on the link (thanks for that btw discool) and they've got one with 690 cca delivered for £82 or 610 cca for £62 so will probably go for one of those to save a few quid...

    Battery issues

Current battery is 72 a/hr, 590 en and 130 r/c. I don't know what that last one means. Currently only used for starting but have just fitted a light bar to the roof (not wired in yet) and plan for some lights on the front as well. Would I be better of with a higher cca output?

The disco has been sat on my drive for a couple of months now waiting for a couple of bits sorting for the mot, came out to her yesterday to get a bit of charge in for moving up the drive to be welded today. She was absolutely flat as expected, got her going with a jump from my van I then left...

    Toasted disco!

That happened to me old dears astra, reckon it was probably a smouldering ember from a fag she had a couple of hours previous. The residue was really gungy/sticky and it was stinking. Is yours similar? It was mainly the foam that was burnt in hers though.
