not while your changing it, you may get a little out of the oil feed and return pipes, but read the instructions very carefully if its new, and if it states to inject oil in the galleries round the turbo before installation, do it! but after you have fitted the turbo, change the oil and filter...

yea i think they are the same engine, but they are always compared to the 2.25 as they were in the land rover, so they are referred to as ''similar'' but they arnt! i just wondered if the seals were the same or similar, but i will have a look over the net. thankyou.
