2.6 temp sensor?

hi all, i have just started driving my 109 2.6 and i love it, but the temp sensor is reading in the red alot and the electrical tab on the sensor is loose( you can spin the inside of the sensor round and round ) and i cant find any sensors on the net and they all seem to be for the 2.25, are they the same, i would have thought so, but i just wanted to ask about to see, before i dump the antifreeze out to find out they are different and i need to search for one! cheers guys!
