It turned out to be not so fiddly as regards the actual electric motor repair but the dismantling and reassembling of the mechanism is what defeated me on the front door lock . I reassembled the lock and installed it twice and it did not work right so i salvaged the electric motors and shelved...

So leak test kit arrived today and so i set it up with the fuel return pipe in a 2 litre bottle and started the engine but had to turn it off after about 7 or 8 seconds because of how fast the 3rd injector was filling up it's bottle . The other 3 seem ok and filled their respective pipe all...

ok so was having a look at the pump just after coming home from a 20k drive and just with the key turned to on but not started and looked for leaks , heard a noise that doesn't sound right to me so i recorded the sound a couple of ways to post here . Does this sound like it's leaking...

Going by the data on the icarsoft could the FPR be faulty? Should I just be replacing the cam sensor and the FPR before anything else?

ok thanks for the suggestion , took it off cleaned the oil off of it and cleaned the connectors with iso alcohol and put in freezer for 3 minutes , re-installed and no start same as befor no matter how long i leave it cranking. worth a try for sure
