Oil Cyclone Breather or Oil Catch Can?

Hi guys, As a newly found Defender enthusiast I have a bucket load of questions about why Landrovers are designed in the way they are. My 300 is fitted with an oil cyclone breather, after disassembling the unit I can't help but feel it does absolutely nothing at all. So I looked online to...

    Land rover defender indicator problems

Hi guys, just another update, Purchased the tell tale correction as I needed a fast fix and had no time to spend on it. I can happily report that the problem has been resolved using Hicap Hill's recommendation from bolt on bits. Thank you all for the help, hopefully this thread helps the...

Engine oil breather to air intake adaptor

Hi there, Does anyone know where I can find the adaptor part to the air filter for an oil breather hose? At the moment I have it dangling in the engine bay pumping fumes through holes into the cab... Thank you!

    Land rover defender indicator problems

Hi guys just a quick update, With your help I've managed to find the problem and move on to the next step, the issue was the Indicator tell tale, I know this because when I removed the tell tale bulb all indicators work as they should, it was indeed an earthing fault. Next step is to purchase...

    Land rover defender indicator problems

I'll try that first and go from there. It sounds very much like the problem you had Mick, the tell tale is very bright indicating to the right and very dim indicating to the left. But it's the right side indicator bulb that has blown... Thank you for the reply!

    Land rover defender indicator problems

Hi there thanks for the replies; It's a land rover 90 C reg. I'll have a look into that Phill, thank you- As for the halo, it's an amber halo around the headlamp, bit of a weird law to block use of it? Cheers!

    Land rover defender indicator problems

Hi there, I've recently changed from normal OEM indicators to Wipac Led's including the wipac relay. They've been absolutely perfect until I checked the other night. I'm having a problem whereby when I use the left indicator it turns all indicators on (excluding the halo around my right...

What road tyres are best for my Defender 2" lift

Are you currently running them now, how are they like for noise? Are they by any chance the ones in your profile pic? Thank you!

What road tyres are best for my Defender 2" lift

Yes, but I have far larger ones which would only end up costing me money rather than saving me money. I would hope with them being smaller it would make the noise more tolerable and decrease wear on bearings, as well as economy and helping my landy not feel like so much of a boat lol.

What road tyres are best for my Defender 2" lift

I did look at these, I know BFG's have some of the best on the market, I do however want to keep the 2" lift because I will be keeping my much larger tyres for winter and when I do eventually take it off-roading again. My concern is whether these would look ridiculous if i didn't lose the lift?

What road tyres are best for my Defender 2" lift

Hi all, So I currently have a colossal set of BFG all terrains on my defender which are spot on for off roading, but I've recently had to commute a fair distance regularly and have realised that they just aren't practical for a number of reasons. I'm after a few of things; Tyres that won't...
