The best place for the sensor is just outside of the front door seal near the top hinge, no wind etc.

update... towbar, hitch and twin elecs fitted and no probs with reversing sensors, just need to work out how to wire in the 12S socket now, 12N done.

Went one better, just got back from collecting towbar kit from MKeynes and got the lad to stand right were the hitch will go and it didn't beep... he was very trusting... :der:

Hi I need to fit a tow bar to my '03 TD4 and it has factory fit reversing sensors, has anyone fitted a flange style tow bar and does it interfere with the sensors? Ta

Hi Having just bought my first FL ('03 TD4) I was amazed to find there is no external temp gauge, when I asked the dealer he said "why do you need to know? it's a 4x4 so it doesn't matter". Even if this is the case and the FL doesn't slide even on ice....:doh: I still like to know wot the temp...

Thanks for that, I have looked on the site you suggested and the closest to mine in appearance is the CM30 but says it is for 1.4 petrol or less.... and I have google'd various terms but struggling to find any other kits.
