    Complete collection of LRO magazines

I have nothing he wants....unless he wants a 300tdi tensioner with fubard bearing. But that's beside the point, I'm talking in general not only specific to this thread.... Do you want my tensioner with knackered bearing? :D

    Complete collection of LRO magazines

I like LRO, it does have useful stuff in, not all the time. But if I do happen to have an item I don't want and someone has something that might be of use, it feasible to swap. One mans junk and all that tosh. How about we agree to disagree :) but I'm right of course ;)

If someone has the parts lying around in a garage why wouldn't they swap? It's a tad childish to comment on the thread for the sake of a cheap laugh.

    300tdi wading

Ok, so I just ordered my snorkel, hopefully fitting Saturday (anything I need to worry about it when fitting?) Will check the axle breather pipes and extend them. Does anyone know what thread and size nuts would suit the cam cover and gearbox? (is there only 2 you need to block, I work in...

    Alarm and immobiliser

I don't mind cutting the supply, I got the radio code, I can lock the doors with the key, I just don't want to have the alarm going off as soon as I cut/reconnect the supply. Or have an immobilised disco that I can't do anything with. When I get in, and put the red key in, I want to be able to...

    Alarm and immobiliser

I think the alarm and immobiliser are standard on my truck (300tdi 1997) and when I bought the truck I soon found that due to the f***ed buttons on the fob, it would lock the disco up, arm the alarm but would not unlock on the button therefore, alarm goes off when you unlock on the key. So a...

    Rebel 4x4

Not having a go :D it's all fitted now, didn't need heat, just plenty or winding back and forth and a squirt with wd40. Quite impressed, mind you....heat may have reduced it to less then 4hours to fit lol. Thanks for the help and advice all

    Rebel 4x4

Ye, they still cut there name out of them. Seen as this is my first land rover I was just curious on if it was a big job or not, hence asking people who are going to know. To be fair I was wondering how the rebel steering guard fitted, straight and easy or a fiddle, so I wasn't expecting a...

    Rebel 4x4

Ordered a steering and diff guard off of them Wednesday afternoon and turned up this morning, pretty good I thought. Has anyone had to fit the steering guard before, out of curiosity, I haven't offered it up yet but will on Sunday. Anything I need to look out for? Anyway, not a bad company...

    Manual winch

I work in a hardware store and there is a manual winch I'm eyeing up, high lift jack is on the things to get. At some point.

    Manual winch

What kind of tonnage would I be looking at, if I was to get stuck, to use a manual winch to pull me a foot or so to get out of trouble. Can't afford an electric winch and not extreme enough to probably need it yet, but manual is ideal just to chuck in the boot. :)

    Hello, from Worcestershire

Hello, I have just bought a disco 1 300tdi, completely standard at the mo. It is a daily runner for me but am looking to mod it up a bit ie a snorkel, maybe a lift, poly bush if I get round to it. Enough for me to have a bit of off road fun, and pay and play fun. Only a little greenlaning so...
