sounds like you have a fooked front axle component somewhere. Could be diff, cv joint or halfshaft failure that would allow power to be sent via front propshaft to nothing. If you engage diff lock, does it move then? Don't try diving anywhere without first finding out whats fooked but at least...

Picked mine up from late classic vogue, grey leather, electric (not yet wired up) very comfy, better than disco seats anyway for £50

I fitted RRC grey leather to mine. rear seats are a direct replacement but I had to make some plates up fo rthe front seats. If you have a later Disco1 I believe they will go straight in with no mods.
