Wow... 4 years on, my windows still have their pond liner in the frame, and they have been opened once since by an enthusiastic friend. Were then closed, and not been opened again. Still planning on replacing them with propper windows (mine are after market?!) but one day... need to paint...

set of front brake pads for a disco. May fit RRC and early fender, not too sure. I think they fit the earlier ones, pre 24 spline diffs. Bought for my 90 (with 300tdi disco axles) but they didn' fit. Good quality EBC Standard (i.e. not green) pads. Offers? £10?

Transfer box for sale off my 90 Removed 3 years ago to fit a disco unit - worked just fine when removed, difflock & high/low all working fine. No Handbrake fitted. I think its a 1.44:1 ratio - standard defender. Offers? Located in South Northants

no but they do gunk up and deposit more oil in the inlet than they should. they only cost about £7, pop a new one in if you suspect it. Reasons to suspect? oil in the manifold between the air filter and the turbo. Some oil is normal, its kinda hard to work out what too much it. Oh, and...

yeah... this battery failed not a year later... bought one from halfrods when i worked there, little diddy thing with MORE CCA and AH than the equivalent, larger and more expensive one from the indie... And a 4 yr warranty :)

an 019 should fit and do the job, at least itll fit a 'fender... I belivee the correct size for a disco is an 072 (but i could be wrong im not certain). I've not seen that brand before (not that im massively experienced in battery brands) how long it lasts could be the problem, and chasing up...

door mirrors, apparently, are the size they are 'cos its seen as a van in some markets...

The gentlemans 101FC has a disco 200TDi in it, with a 'fender LT77 'box, and a disco 1.22:1 LT230 transfer box. The valve he has seen is, i think, the wastegate actuator. Its a very interesting vehicle! And the gear change linkage is pretty unique i think.

also, surely underbody seal with added waxoyl is the stuff, as it is brushable, thick and doesnt properly set, and also not very expensive?
