Exhaust clarification.....

I have a defender 200tdi engine on a 110 2.5TD chassis. I assume it has a 200tdi front section exhaust off the turbo but can't be sure.

Are 2.5TD exhaust sections interchangeable with defender 200tdi spec equivalents? I ask because I have a 200tdi straight through mid section to fit (not sure if it will) and now need to order the rear section. Oh, and I don't have the vehicle to have a look.

i think the biggest problem you will have is, even if the parts do fit, this does not mean they were used.

Engine swaps like this, (like mine ) tend to have such an assortment of bits combined to make it work that only the fitter knows what is what.

That said, order it, try it. If its close, modify it, if it isn't, then send it back and make something. Exhausts aren't all that hard to make up.

fit complete 200tdi exhaust and any fixings you need it will be easier in long run and engine is in right position to fit std exhaust
