Ive recorded my wastegate, mainly to see if i can diagnose the high pitched noise im getting. But also noticed the wastegate moves..but seems reluctant, only on a really hard sharp press of the pedal any thoughts on the high pitched screech noise...

ive got one of ebay from JGS 4x4 going to clean the MAP sensor tommorrow Will check the intercooler pipes also got a power steering leak also to sort, pretty sure its on the pipes at the front and not the pump

I havent got a nanocom or hawkeye, looking into get one but undecided which one to go for. for the cost of a new MAF ive just orderd a new one. Should be with me wednesday.

Could the ****e thats been going through the filter be causing me the suspected "over boosting" issue im having? ive changed the wastegate solenoid, and the wastegate acutator seems free, hard to move but does move.

This is how my MAF sensor looks like... is this normal, its basically full of ****. Its happend as the filter was ****ed and allowing air to bypass it i have replaced the air filter and also orderd a new MAF as i coulnt get a reading between pins 2-3 using a multimeter 1-3 read ok 1-2 was ok...

That would be a YES That photo of the air filter..is how it was sat inside the box. anything the engine sucked up was able to just bypass the filter. going to give the MAF a clean out, possibly just replace for the cost of it.
