Operate door handle and then down against the glass with other hand pushing window lower. ;)

Engine wont stall on automatic. Find a clear road and select neutral then brake. Does it still vibrate? Selecting neutral should isolate engine /gearbox from drivetrain and wheels.

Have you bought that Haynes manual yet? It gives a difficulty 'spanner' rating for various jobs. Also tell us where you have looked/searched for answers already.
