Seems a bit of a faff just to isolate the aerial when not in use. I need to check the becm is shutting down though I think the aftermarket stereo the previous owner has put in might be the cause of the battery drain, aerials for gps, digital TV...
That's quite a range of times. I must admit, I'm surprised by those, as every time I've done it, they have been within (say) 5 seconds of each other. I've only ever done it with 5kg on the end of the bar, though, and they typically take 45-50...
You insist too much on the gauge reading IMO, all i explained untill now is about the engine management, as long as you keep getting that fault code and those MAP readings that engine will not run well, it will be in the restricted performance...
Yup, confirmed by the parts book. Did you get the camshaft bearings in ok? I ended up getting a bit of tube turned down to do mine - after a couple of fails trying the easy way!
Next self-inflicted issue. Right front brake was grabbing like crazy. Pulled the drum thinking maybe the shoes weren’t in parallel with the drum so I could adjust that setting. I confirmed the snail gears were set to their lowest points. Drum...
LOL, I did that once, I guess it is similar in a way but maybe the stat might be a bit easier.
If you're wondering about the modules at the bottom of the photo I plan to make an extension to the LV junction box to enclose them. ;)
Thanks to you both, the 18-19 psi I had set previously when working on the truck. Strangely the lower 15 psi boost has only manifested SINCE changing the sensor on the manifold. I may put back the old one I took out to see what happens.
I only...
Nope!
It sort-of works at 50MPH on the flat (just) i.e. low loading.
I will sometimes work at 70 (again..low loading).
It never accelerates once switched on and speed over the minimum limit.
It is $hit.
I can make it pass all the dognasties and...
+1 they definitely do the job. I also had one of the first available, which Marty later replaced with updated firmware. Did the 2nd one on my project P38 last year.
Only one challenge remains is the one-touch "close all windows" never seems...
IMO the essence is there ^^^
Thinking deeper it becomes more suspect to me that there is a short circuit to supply on the MAP circuit hence the "manifold pressure high" fault code which is logged after ignition when the ECU is going through the...
I've had a thorough inspection of the rear subframe this evening. The rest of it is rock sold, with only minor surface corrosion in other areas. This may change my approach.
