Bit like my D1, it sat in dry storage for many years. What year is it, it looks very clean. I think it's easily worth the asking price.

Not a large job at all. They are riveted just riveted into place. Through the line of holes you can see In The picture. Will take longer to paint to match than to actually fit!

I confess to not being an engineer, but don't have to look far to find a level of irony in your plan. As I understand it you want to take the best Range Rover model the old Rover Co (latterly LandRover) ever made, renown for it's ability...

Foolishly I used a recon unit and it was about the same time I realised that recon units these days are not what they used to be! Having said that, it’s what I have so… I find that tightening the 6mm adjuster on the top by about 1/8th of a turn...

It look's like it's been run on radweld (horrible stuff) which always leaves a speckled residue like that.

This is the pipe from underneath you can see the coolant dripping. It's fixed by 2 jubilee clips, and is 90°. My concern is I'm getting coolant in places it shouldn't be. Is this part of the coolant system?.

Well there are many who spend 2-3 thousand on buying just a chassis with upwards of 5k fitted so I don't see how it couldn't be a good buy. You can get them cheaper but unmolested 3 doors are few and far between.

So @Grebby suggested you check the fuse ... did you find it was blown ? Did replacing the fuse and disconnecting the "To Negative/High Beam" yellow wire get your headlights working again ? You don't connect it to the live feed for the...

There are two neutrals, 1 in the main gearbox and 1 in the transfer box. The main gearbox (R380 or LT177) drives an output shaft which typically spins faster than the engine in 5th, the same speed when in 4th and slower when in 1st 2nd and 3rd...

I have one like that, I like the adjustable plate on it so the weight isn't hanging on the pedals and there is no gap on the floor.

What do you mean by set it up? Any adjustments will be in the workshop manual but don't discount the fact a recon might actually be no good. Half arsed recon would mean change the seals and paint it black. Remember you also have the UJs on the...

10mm deep! Should be enough to tap a thread, bit of thread lock and put a screw in.
