Just fitted new calipers and pads to rear.
convinced I have the right parts. Caliper dimensions all the same.
Brake pad set arrived with new pins and springs but pins too short ! Pads fit with old pins. However there is allot of clearance between pads and disk ( before bleeding and testing) . Much less than when I did a similar job on Disco3. Anything I should worry about or will this just be taken up by the cylinder?

Given you had the wrong pins then the pads may well be wrong as well.

There are different pads and pins for 110, you need the others by the sounds of it.
Along with calipers and discs.
I had the same problem with my 90 which has 110 brakes on the back.
Essentially one set of pads are thicker, the later ones I think but unfortunately I have forgotten

Rear pads

Confusing myself on the rear pads for my 2002 90. It would seem they should be held in with the little metal clips but mine are held in with pins and springs (same as 110). So, do I need 110 pads and what is the part number? Calipers have been changed in the past when it was in the hands of the...
