Running out of ideas guys! Recently fitted a new rack to my 57 plate FL2 and on start up got 2 fault codes ( U0428-62, invalid data received from steering angle sensor module & an ABS code similar which i cant remember, this actually referred back to first code) Checked all fuses, relays and connections. Fitted a used squib from a well respected breaker which cleared ABS fault but not SAS fault.
The used squib serial number doesnt match my original but obviously all plug locations match. Using Foxwell NT 530 pro to clear codes. Cheers

Was the rack centralised before fitting the column splines on, and was the steering wheel set to the straight ahead position before the work was started? This is best confirmed using a suitable diagnostic reader, which gives the steering angle in ° of movement.
If the steering wheel was rotated while the rack was disconnected, and / or the rack wasn't centralised accurately, then it's possible to damage the steering angle sensor, or the clock spring, or both.
