Headlights are few quid. Il leave the puns to the master on this one as they really aren’t cheap. Chances are you can find one decently priced but it will be a search.
Local scrap yard would be my first port of call see if they can give you a deal, can’t hurt to ask or they may know somewhere local themselves

Yep, halogen ones are about 200 quid, xenon ones are around 400+.
Can't you get it fixed on insurance?

Hi Thank you for the reply the insurance company were less than helpful and wanted to write off because of age etc.
We managed to find the replacement headlights, fog lights ect the bumper is going to be plastic welded and resprayed all for less than my excess cost on the insurance. However now the ambient air sensor has come off !! still attached to the bumper just hanging free at the connector end. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where the other end of the connector is located please ?

Thank you for all the answers and yes I have managed to sort out the sensor :) not quite ready to call it a day with my super awesome rangy but sometimes its enough to make me lay in a dark room and count to 10 lol

So you got it sorted then...

asking for a 'friend' who braved the cold who actually physically went out into the sleet and actually checked in order physically to furnish you with an answer and who also happens to happenstance actually physically and not at all made up have exactly the same model as yourself?o_O

Yes I do indeed have the Supercharged version of the wonderful L322 :) it was behind the grill and the sensor had come unplugged when it went into the garage to have the new headlight fitted.

So now I have a outside temperature showing of 1' instead of - 40' lol and the engine management light has now gone off . However I'm not sure why that would be but im not complaining
