BOSCH p/s pump

I ordered a ZF power steering pump but a BOSCH pump has turned up , And im not sure what to do . Do i send it back and get a ZF , or just fit it . But im not sure of bosch pump quality , i know ZF are good and why i did not buy bosch ,britpart , allmakes or even bearmach which ive found there parts ok , But for a p/s pump and where it is i wanted it to be trouble free for a few years .

What does everyone think i should do .

If it's not what you ordered & you have concerns send it back.

But am I concerned without good reason , just been reading and Bosch have good reviews

My first reaction was , Yes return not what I ordered , but its alot of faff if I'm only getting an equal quality pump . Now if you know Bosch are cr@p I certainly would return it .
It may be Bosch are better lol . I just don't know other than that I know ZF is original fitment , not sure if Bosch is .

Well it came in a Bosch box , its got a Bosch label . But its got ZF cast into the casting/case Lol . Panic averted no need to return etc . It appears bosch have bought out ZF , or bits not sure , So this will be happening alot I would imagine . So be warned of it and don't go ranting at the supplier as i did . Not that they knew any of this , it was only when I checked the pump over closely did I see the little ZF casting .

Bosch are a very reputable german supplier so I wouldn't have had any worries.

I was not sure . Not sure if they ever made pumps of there own . I normally go with bosch it was just that defenders have ZF and wanted to play safe .

I’ve been sending a lot of things back recently. I’m getting tired of companies advertising one thing and sending something else.

They send whatever they wish , or send an email saying we don't have it , even though they still list the items as available . annoying . Had it the other day waiting on a part and thought i would check my account for tracking info , only to get a message there order cancelled what would you like us to do , asked what the heck as was expecting delivery that day , reply we emailed you i checked and it had gone to spam not that i check emails hourly . Said why did you not call me you have my number , the fact i had not replied to your email should of told you something and im not in a office reading emails all day like you do . livid was not the word .

I make a point now of sending stuff back at their expense and I also have a black list of companies who p*** me off. I won't buy from them again.

Funnily that's what ive just started .
