Hello Everyone,

Thought I’d sign up to a Landry forum after purchasing my first Discover 2. It’s a 2000 TD5 auto with 156k on the clock, engine sounds sweet with no noticeable chassis rust/previous welding. I’ll post some pictures up after a good clean up.

I also drive a 2013 Defender for work, no personal use but I still get to have some fun!

Looking forward to getting myself a caravan and making some memories!

Pete

Hi Pete,

Welcome to the forum.

a couple of things as a fellow D2 owner.

Download a copy of the RAVE workshop manual.
Find out what the EkA code is and make sure it works.
Get a spare key if you have not got one.
Find or make a friend who has a nanocom or similar diagnostic unit.

Good luck and cheers.

Great I’ll take a look. The previous owner did mention that he had problems getting in once and had the alarm disconnected

Looks like I've got myself an oil leak from somewhere, think it's gearbox but not 100% yet. Where are the common places they leak from? Are any of them stupidly expensive to change if I get a garage to sort it (I've probably got the ability to change it myself but I'm pretty busy at the moment).

Cheers!
