Hi everyone
After nursing my 1991 Defender 200TDI through several years of MOT failure misery I have taken the plunge and booked her in for a new Galv. chassis and bulkhead replacement. I reckon I’m going to be needing lots of advice and reassurance as the build progresses and the costs mount up so thought I’d check in with you guys as no doubt I’ll be asking lots of questions. Anyway good to see such a thriving on community. Cheers!

Hi and welcome!

Don’t forget to add some pictures of the newly rebuilt Landy. We like pics, especially of lots of shiny galvy bits!

Episode One: welcome newbies and posting naked landrovers.

Welcome Aboard :)

+1 on the pics..

Good call on the galv BH - the chassis is a bit of a no brainer..

Make sure your insurance valuation reflects same - IMO get it on agreed value cover ;)
