Newbie from Northamptonshire

Hi!
I am the owner of a marine blue truck cab S2a, named Roy. He is my 1st Land Rover, and I am a novice, but keen to learn.
He’s had an engine change from petrol to a 12j 2.5 n/a diesel.
Unfortunately, in typical LR style I suppose, Roy had been beset with problems, which between us we’ve have slowly overcome - most recently a diesel leak and a burnt out starter. So the learning has been happening! He’s currently in the garage for a head gasket, as that’s a job too far for me...
Im looking to find local - ish ?? Landy friends and join a fun community. I have been a sometime lurker of the forum, but felt it was time to put myself out there and make it official.
Thanks for taking the time to read my intro.

Hope your Land Rover is fixed soon. It's a bit of a labour of love with these older machines as they usually need something or other doing to them.

This is the only photo of Roy I have to hand at the moment. I have more on my laptop so will see what I can do to upload more later this week. Here is Roy in his natural environment of late - on the back of a recovery truck
