Hi guys,
used this forum for yonks for my previous landys and alot of handy help,
just decided to make an account and get involved a bit now i have more knowledge behind me and hope to help people that were in my position some years back, many members on here have extensive knowledge on here though i feel i'm half way between dumb and pro ;P

You start by helping out with jobs you have done yourself on your own landy, things you know about. Sometimes people comment on things they don't know about and it misleads folk, sadly this sometimes makes things worse. As you yourself said some members are absolute geniuses and have an encyclopedic knowledge whereas others just come over that way.

My advice stick to what you know and only try to help when you have the knowledge, there will jobs you know about intimately and that is where your contribution can really help.

Welcome and enjoy
