Range Rover L322 2003 is with body shop for full respray in white.

They disconnected battery without waiting for red light on sat nav. ( it's a vogue).

Now whenever I open any door, one front passenger speaker makes a very loud noise even if stereo is off. Sometimes this noise is heard when doors are locked.

Is the DSP amp fried? Stereo and sat nav still works. Can hear music perfectly but this loud buzzing noise is irritatingly loud.

Told them to take it to electrician to get it sorted but I doubt someone who does not have know ledge on a Range Rover will be able to fix the problem.

hi , if you did that in the p38 then it fries the sat-nav driver :eek: in the boot !!!!!! would suspect it would do same to l322 ???? not sure .
BUT and a big but I wouldn't let just anyone check it over , speak to the main dealer service manager and ask his advice on who to let look at it !!!!! they will give you free advice , just don't let them touch it cos too expensive the main stealer is ;)!!!! regards mozz

Finally fixed. It was the front passenger speaker wires. The body shop left one cable off which makes the speaker make a buzz noise loudly.

Will put pictures of the respray on the forum in morning. Went from OSLO BLUE to ALPINE WHITE. Cost me only £800 (includes door shuts, engine bay). They did all prep work from start to finish.

Wow that's a really good price! Will look forward to seeing the pictures.
