Will it need to be reset to work on a defender engine?
What in your opinion are they worth ?
I have 8 mostly happy years with my 110 td5 now and while I have learned a lot in the 8 years, I'm still very nervous about E.C.Us or electronics .
I understand that they have there uses, I've just managed fine without one so far.

If it has all the unlock codes as claimed then it will work on all TD5s Fender or Disco.

They are worth what you want to pay but will save you lots of money at the stealers when you have a problem.

Mine paid for itself when I had issues with the three amigos. I borrowed Ratty's nano and solved the problem in half an hour after my local stealer told me the ABS pump and shuttle valve unit was kaput and needed replacing at a cost of more than £2k.
Turned out all that needed doing was to power bleed the braking system and its been fine ever since.

I paid £300 for my Nano classic but it took ages for one to come up hence my posting.

I'm not sure the later Nanocom Evo can do all that the Classic can nor the Hawkeye but I may be mistaken.

CAn also be used to code key fobs and diagnose alarm problems as well as remapping on later programmable ECUs. Has real time monitoring of various parameters which is useful before minor issues become big problems.
