Not urgent- battery flattening

Hi all hope I am in the right section to ask this! I am in the wolverhampton area. I had a mechanic who basically said he knew everything about defenders & has made a right pigs ear of things & caused me more problems so I don't want to take my baby back to him. I need someone in Wolverhampton or nearby to maintain & repair my defender who knows what they are doing long term.

ASAP though he fitted a starter motor for me which is working fine but since then my battery is going flat in about 2 days. Been told may be the nuts not tight or something touching but I need it sorting & testing as its my daily transport! I am happy to pay someone not looking for a freebie

I am not overly confident or knowledgeable on mechanics and the likes. For all of my mechanical needs, I go to a place near Belbroughton, not far from Stourbridge. Which is not overly far from you, I believe.
Land Rover Defenders quality used land rover 90, 110 and 130 models Is thier website, they specialise in Defenders and are a good bunch of chaps. They may be able to help with repairs or advice.

Might be just sheer coincidence, but the alternator or battery might have packed up...although if either the alternator was on its way out then the battery would be flat in a lot less than 10 days I suspect. Still may be worth checking the charging and battery condition out though.

Sounds about normal to me

Do you mean it goes flat if not used? Or do you use it daily but the battery still goes flat?
