Hi all,

I'm currently restoring a series III 88in with parabolic springs fitted. I read in this months LRO that parabolic springs are no good with standard shocks, and that uprated ones should be fitted.

Just wondered if anyone has any experience with this and if so, What shocks do you recommend fitting.

Thanks.

pro comps are cheap and work ok, but make sure you get 9000 not 3000 as they are stiffer which is required for the parabolics. i fitted britpart parabolics to mine and they are sagging dramatically after 3 years!! not impressed. the rear required +2" dampers but the front was fine with standard length.

I ran my old one with parabolics and standard shocks with no problems at all. If you're planning on using it offroad alot it's worth upgrading, but for road use there's no need.
