FYI

my rangie had done 128,000 miles i was having problems related to diesel injection pump (fuel quantity actuator) and timing sprockets, previously before any work was carried out on my ran P38 i was recording 22mpg.
We sent the diesel pump away for recon, fitted a new timing gear sprocket, whilst doing this we found the timing belt tensioner had wear marks and was very weak so a new one was fitted along with 2 new timing chains.
My P38 is now back on the road and returning 28mpg. :):):)
