hello all, iv got a question for the more technical among you.
I intend to raise my disco by 2" and would like to alter the camber myself with some spare hockey sticks i have. If any1 has attempted this or has any information on how to alter the hockey sticks (apart from putting castor correction bushes in) I would be grateful of the advise.
I know you need to change the angle by 3 degrees but which way and is that at both ends.
I'm a HGV fitter and have all the equipment to attempt this at work so would like to give it a go.
cheers

camber is line thru swivel pins outward (sideways) caster forward like cycle forks, when you raise vehicle radius arm swings down making castor nearer vertical, axle rotate anti clockwise looking from side,to adjust this axle needs to be rotated clockwise to put lower brg in front of top,but 2inches should effect it enough to loose self centering steering

cheers m8, I understand the principles of caster and camber with being a fitter but just couldnt work out which way to bend the radius arms. Iv looked back through my C&G stuff from eon's ago and worked it out

If you understand the principles of caster/camber why are you asking about changing camber when it's the caster you need to change .
