Hi all!
I've decided to get a Noisekiller blanket for the TDCi but not sure which size.
Can anyone tell me if I should cover the whole engine compartment or just the engine part of it. Noisekiller do Small 500x500mm, Medium 750x500 and Large 925x500.
Any advice much appreciated.
Cheers

Now play nice! I was asking for a friend :p

Anyone got an idea why a 2008 Puma would drive a mile then cut out like it's got no fuel, then drive a mile and cut out etc. with no fault codes?
Cheers

I've just fitted a stainless steel sill to the back door frame (going to do the sides next). The screws from the old sill are crappy grey steel (possibly galvanised) and went straight into the frame, so I used some nice stainless ones... then thought about it.
I guess the door frames are...

Brilliant (and much simpler) - thanks :)

Was that one only adjusted at the drum?

Hi all,
Does anyone know if the pre-TD5 models adjusted the handbrake cable only at the drum end (there was a linkage there), or also behind the seat box?
I'm looking at the X-Brake disc conversion and the Puma cable has to be changed for the older one...
Cheers,
Matt

True, but I've got the banging noise problem that the German dealer has repeatedly failed to fix. Just hope it IS the handbrake drum...
Oh, and my sanity is more precious than a disc brake :)

I admit I've posted this on another forum as well...
Has anyone tried one of these:

Is it any good? Does anyone know if it will fit a Puma without cutting bits off?
Cheers,

Cheers! I didn't want to look like an idiot at the (idiot) dealer tomorrow :)

Can anyone tell me the normal position for the handbrake lever when on?
It's back from the dealer and NOW the handbrake has to be straight up :(
It was at about 45 degrees before! Cant be normal, can it?
It's a 2011 model.
Cheers

I get 26+ mpg from mine (?) although it is the newest version (110SW - 2011). I love it to bits (tempting fate there...) - even my wife has warmed to it :) Sure it's got a Transit engine but it's still a hell of a lot louder (why?) and still got soul
