i was outside "tinkering" with the engine on my 88 ,it has a weber carb and it starts fine,ticks over brill and all is well but there is a slight "spitting" noise from the carb when i hold the throttle open any ideas ?

im in leoghton buzzard ,not far from milton keynes ,i dont really fancy stripping off the back axle ,sounds like a big job and i know there will be some nuts and bolts that will refuse to budge as usual and im in the middle of restoring a campervan ,im going to phone a place near dunstable...

hi they are in the back as you look at it from the rear ,i have looked at a few and some are bolted on but mines a normal weld .

hi my poor old land rover has developed 2 small holes on the back axel ,on the diff housing ? i think ,the big round bit in the middle lol how easy is it to replace the axel ? or can i bodge it ? dont really want to take the second choise as its like paper in some places ,other than that...

hi i was wondering if it was possible to take off the 88 back and replace it with a 109 safari back , what i need is convert it into a 4 seater with proper back seats any ideas people other than the obvious of getting a 109 safari ? thanks
