ok so mines is running a bit sluggish the now 2003 freelander serengeti, and i know it can be a few things but have never heard of this crankcase filter before with not owning one of these before now so reckon its probably not been replaced when it should have,
i know it can be a few things...

yeah a 32mm socket seems to fit thanks
-
aha, so i noticed also that about half way up the side windows of the rear removeable roof there was a black steel bracket either side that i coulditn work out what the hell they were so i assume they are something to do with the parcel shelf then
-
so are the headlight and rear light cages that you get the same fitment for a 3 door and a 5 door yes? just checking
-
ah ok thanks for that, i have never seen one so no idea what they are like/look like etc
-
so my 3 door does not have a rear parcel shelf, but i assume they do have them?
there looks like there might be a couple of holes either side for something?
and if they do are the 3 door different to the 5 door ones? i assume? with different lengths?
-
so these roof bars that some of the 3 door freelander have, see with these fitted can this rear part of the roof still be removed with these in place out of interest, as they look ok and would maybe get a set to fit them?
also the front headlight cages that you get, are these the same fit for 3...

dam it forgot that i needed a socket for the hub nut, and dont think i have a socket that big!! what size is this 30mm roughly?
-
just done tyre pressures all round and away to do the wheel off the ground vcu check
-
so just done my tyres from all 4 matching tyres and put them all to 34psi all round, they were all slightly off but not by much to be honest, but when you are looking at the car i have to say they do all look like they need more air and look well down although thats what roughly they are...
-
just double checked and all tyres are exact matching and all are 225/60/16 tyre pressure deff looks different in them they all seem ok but some look lower than others so better sort that out, will look the air compressor out tomorrow at some point and make them all the same around 30
-
so its ok to run them maybe slightly different to spec for different tyres etc, as long as all are the exact same yes? 30psi seems really low does it not?
-
and is the psi on all tyres supposed to be 37 all round did read somewhere?
thanks for the info guys spot on as always!

Hi folks so my plan was to maybe remove the shafts and vcu just until i can source another, have not done it yet obviously and you never know i might not and just replace it when i get another, however i believe its torque sockets either end to remove, and have just found a small set in my tool...
