if there was an airlock would this stop the flow how do you bleed the 4.6

will try the cable now, it pretty much goes in red straight away , it doesnt boil or use water ,top hose doesnt really get to hard but engine or rad dont seem to get to warm either thanks again

it rises to red pretty much instantly, doesnt use water?? but hose or rad doesnt feel that hot?? very weird

hi all my friend has bought himself a 96 4.6 hse p38, had been sat some time , changed battery and a few service items and all seems fine but the temp gauge is all over the place it doesnt overheat or use water but its driving him crazy ,does anyone one know what would cause it to go up and down...

may be different with yours but on my 2001 dhse the compressor was replaced without having to depressurise the system i watched him do it took him 5 mins tops and we were chatting throughout the process, i too had no faults showing but had replaced rear bags

ill be leting my rears down in morn as i put them to 38 from 30 as that what my owners manual said but its seems to ride harsher so book must be wrong im running standard size pirelli scorpions

would love to know correct front and rear pressures for standard 18s also as put my rears on 38 but rides quite harsh now is the book wrong

hi all i got a full service done on our new to me rangie a couple of weeks (2001 2.5dhse) ago as i really didnt have the time and it was very cold out, but on looking through the paperwork they have put in 15w 40 oil in her is this wrong as my handbook states 10w 40 i have been back to garage...

never thought of pirtek,thanks have only found ones for v8s and bits with parts only will give them a ring tom

hi all wondering if anyone knows of the part number or where i can get the long transmission oil cooler pipe from? looking on ebay and a few other spots they just give part numbers? can they be repaired or is it new only thanks again , the last job i need to do for now lol

it seemed to raise straight away today, will go for a drive in the snow tonight and leave it low over night and see what happens cheers again
