To blast or not to blast? That's the question?

Seems like soda blasting looks the better solution. Place in Bridgenorth (Shropshire) looks promising. Anyone had any experiences with it? Particularly with the post blast prep before spraying? Also, any recommendations for local (Telford or West Midlands) paint spray shops? Many...

Interesting day at Gaydon Motor Museum.

Great, thank you. I'm trying to understand why the vehicle was made in March 1975. Dispatched in that March but not registerd with DVLA until June 1976. Just seems a little off. Lead times today are not even that long! Thanks again for your reply. All advise really appreciated.

Series 3 cat flap rear lifting tail gate

Hi, does anyone know where you can get a replacement outer panel from for one of these please? Going to get it off and take it to a sheet aluminium supplier to cut out a new one but thought I'd check if anyone's had the same problem first? Many thanks for any feedback.

    Hi all

Hi both. Thank you for your posts. Definitely running before I started stripping to body off. Actually, was running really well. I'm not sure if was the original engine - would be very surprised but not sure yet. Need to get more of the history if I can.

Interesting day at Gaydon Motor Museum.

So, the mystery deepens. Bought my Series 3 couple of months ago and am in the process of stripping it down to the chassis in order to POR15 the chassis and then repaint / rebuild the body back on to it. The chassis number is 90114136A with an engine number of 11A50247. Yep, that's a...

    Hi all

Just a short "hi" and introduction. Live in Telford in the UK with my family. Recently bought a 1976 Series 3 SWB 88", with a V8 on an impulse for me and my 12 year old son to do up and to love. It was an impulse because I've never done this before and have no idea what I'm doing - but I'm...
