Hi people,has anyone in or near the wirral got diagnostic tool they would put on my td5. mot is due soon and it won't pass with the lights on the dash.apart from the fault mentioned its been a good car and would be a shame to scrap it.

yes the actual indicators.when you say rule out the fusebox,do you mean its possible it could be that. thanks

i have a disco 2 commercial 04 reg.the problem.indicators intermittent and clocks intermittent.funny enough when the engine has been running for a few hours,the indicators work but the clocks flash on and off.with numerous lights on the dash.had it in my local garage but they couldn't sort...

update...… well checked all connections and cant find anything loose,so have ordered a new starter motor.[I know I could of got a repair kit but it wasn't that expensive].well chuff me,from the minute I ordered the starter motor it hasn't done it once.land rovers you've got to love em. j

thanks Neilly,i don't have the manual or card with the vehicle.i just tried the key in the drivers door.it was a bit stiff but did open it.unfortunately the alarm went off,and with next door having 10 month old twins,i don't think ill be very popular with my neighbours for a while.will try all...

sorry about this but what is an eka code,

cant hear a click from the starter,but as I said usually starts after 5 or 6 turns of the key.thanks for the info I will check the starter motor connections in the morning.cheers. j
