I've just put a second hand one on (Discovery 1:N REG) and it was AMR2109 but was black in colour.There is another one which is green AMR 6429.Had no central locking,swapped the ecu and yay,all good...well apart form the tailgate.

Update...AMR2109 arrived today,had to wait awhile to get one at the right price.Fitted and now have central locking....apart from the boot door but that can wait for another day,for now I'm just going to enjoy not having to reach all over the place to let the family in...Yay.

Well I have the Haynes manual and access to Rave and both are not listing anything to do with a relay for the rear windows,so I guess there isn't one and I need to start tracing the wiring back or else I'm not seeing something staring me in the face.

Great that's good to know.Seeing as I'm spending much of time in the passenger footwell due to the lack of central locking and also having no rear electric windows can anyone point me in the direction of identifying the relays underneath the two ecu's in question?..

Thank you for that...I have a few of the ecus's saved on E-bay,seems like a worthwhile first step to rule it out before going any further.At least I know now that I'm going in the right direction.Thanks again.

Hi all,thought I'd give an update.Now clocked over the hundred mile mark with no starting problems whatsoever.Everyday use including the .Not using the throttle when starting has taken some getting used to but I like it.My better other half has also taken to using 'Leroy' at every opportunity...

Your right with the personal preference but this thread has given me a lot of bonus info from people like yourself who have tried different tyres etc.Up until now I have just bought tyres with no real thought apart from the price.Now I have a better understanding of at least what type of tyres...

Thanks for the link.I've just had a quick look and bookmarked.I now have at least a few options to consider.I've also saved a search on E-bay for wheels/tyres and knowing which tyres are considered better than others through personal experience is a huge bonus.Many thanks.
