4.6 HSE gearbox is different (4HP24 as opposed to 4HP22) and as far as I'm aware there was no Overfinch upgrade for it. That 630R is the one which was for sale at Marcus Fothergill for quite some time (and ended up on eBay), it's been repainted.

No, this was a classic, not a P38.

You're potentially buying a car that you have to finish the development of yourself - might not need much, might be a complete nightmare. Aside from that, it will use a lot of petrol and (if you listen to some people) the ZF gearbox could be seen as a consumable.

Not necessarily true - you'll remember the white P38 from last year which most definitely was a real 630R despite having neither engine nor dash plaque ...

I think I'm correct in saying that all the P38 Vogues have the full Autobiography-style wood console (and sat-nav). My question really is were any of the non-Autobiography/special edition 2000-2002 cars without sat-nav fitted with similar full wooden console trim?
