Hope someone can help, I have replaced the swivel on my ABS disco 1 and in the kit was the thrust washer FTC 124 and when reviewing the manuals, Rave and youtube videos there is no mention of this, just the fitting of the upper swivel mounting thrust washers and needle rollers. If I fit it...

Thanks for the answers. I think it has to be rear fit only. I dont do extreme stuff, dont drive hard so it is just occasionally that traction is an issue on some surfaces so a diff locker seems like a plan on the rear.

Looking for advise.. I am wanting to install air lockers (probably ashcroft) but as they are so expensive I wonder if I can do them in stages i.e. front first and later on rears or just do one and not bother with the other. If only one, which diff is best to focus on? Thoughts welcome please. Thanks

Sounds great. I have a 2" raised Disco 1 with mud tyres and do pay and play so am used to off roading a little bit. I have a recovery strap but no winch yet. I have recovery points on the vehicle. I dont have a CB but can get one soon if we start to do this. I just havent had the need to yet...

Folks have fitted a new seal and flange kit to disco 1 but when I tighten the flange retainer bolt (not the nut type) to the 72nm if pretty much locks up and wont spin by hand but will at a push if i put socket on the nut to turn it. Fitting the halfshafts to see if the flange spins when they...
