    Hi Rank Amateur, tried running car in manual as you suggested noise comes in at the same speeds as when in auto no matter what gear, looks like I'll just have to turn the radio up, took it to a local garage and the guy took it out, he said he could hear the noise but didn't know what it was.

    Thanks Rank Amateur I'll give that a try, can't try it for a couple of days though cos it's in the body shop having some paintwork done but thanks again will let you know how it goes.

    The bearings were replaced by landrover and the Haldex was serviced too

    I have a 2009 freelander 2 that is making a whining noise at 30 mph and again between 45 and 50, its not diff bearings cos they were replaced last year. Would much appreciate any ideas. Thanks.

    Freelander 2 wiper problem

    Hi kev, problem solved now had a new wiper motor fitted but was still the same, garage did a diagnostic check and found the fault was still logged into the computer they cleared the computer of all faults and it's been fine since. Hope this is of help to you.

    My freelander 2 has a wiper problem, they stop halfway up the screen and nothing will get them going again, I have to pull over switch off the ignition, wait 10 minutes and then they work again, anyone have any ideas ??

    Hi all, new to the club so looking forward to joining in

    I have a windscreen wiper problem with my 2009 Freelander 2 the wipers stop half way up the screen and nothing will get them going again, I have to pull over and switch the engine off and then wait 10 mins then I start the engine and they start working again. Any ideas please
