    True wheel is 60mm larger in diameter, but only 1/2 of that is below the axela and 1/2 above so the car will sit 30mm higher.

    Wheels are the same size 16" Tyres are 40mm wider with same aspect ratio of 75% So that makes 30mm roughly assuming same flat spot at bottom :) or you could always let the tyres down to get in the garage:)

    The trailer should have a plate on it stating the all max up weight (ie the trailer + load together). Unbraked will be max of 750 in any case. Maybe worth checking the owners manual for the car also to check if there are towing limits for the car. My Toyota Verso for is only rated to 450kg...

    Well said that man - Decision made just going to bite the bullet and get new set of rim/tyres. :) Probably 235/85/16 A/t's BFG or General grabber (as these seem to be the recommended and i don't want fat tyres) buy from 4x4Tryres.co. and i guess whatever steel rims they recomend...

    Micheldever Tyres did the last repair. Just had a look this morning and they have fitted an adapter sleeve. My guess is that it is probably rustiness causing the tube to fail. Will try to get the tyre off tonight and see what the situation is. (assumign I can get the bastard off that...
