hi, im looking to upgrade my wheels and tyres on my defender, the ones I have at the moment are BFG M/T on the old steel wheels 225/75/16, im looking at getting the challenger steels with BFG A/T, 265/75/16.
The question is, what difference in height will this make, as its very tight in my garage and I don't want to buy if I cant get in the garage
regards

Search............. Go to BFG's web site and it will list the height and width of the tyres, you may want to consider spacers or off set rims.

Wheels are the same size 16"
Tyres are 40mm wider with same aspect ratio of 75%
So that makes 30mm roughly
assuming same flat spot at bottom :) or you could always let the tyres down to get in the garage:)

thanks for that mick I think ill order them and take the risk, any ideas were from, before I do a search ?
cheers
